The "Shelter" movie depicts a story of a psychiatrist, a woman who has worked with patients with a disorder known as multiple personality, which came to be many reasons for their crimes times, including murder. Cara Jessup (Julianne Moore), an expert is required to give a testimony about the suspects. After evidence of expertise in multiple personality disorders are assassins sent to various death penalty and was killed. However, Cara, as a faithful Catholic, remained faithful to her religion while she takes out the scientific theories of multiple personality. As contrasted daughter became skeptical about the existence of God. But soon, Cara distracted when she learns about the case of Adam (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers). After a long investigation, she discovers that Adam's heart contain different fragments, but quite clearly the people he has killed before. After these events Cara lost its firm belief in the existence of actual and reasonable.
